Dear Investor,

Thanks for checking us out. As you do your diligence and learn more about us, there's something you should know about SpeakerText:

We have very clear priorities.

1. Our first obligation is to our customers and users. Making them happy is our raison d'être. Without them, we die.
2. Our second obligation is to our employees. They make the company and they own lots of equity. Without them, we don't exist.
3. Our third obligation is to society and the world at large. This is not because we are silly idealists. No, it is because the most talented people can work anywhere, but for whatever reason, they tend to want to work for companies that make the world better. By actively working on projects that help out humanity, SpeakerText attracts the best people. This will be our primary competitive advantage over the long term.
4. Our fourth and final obligation is to you, our investors. We've gotta make you money.

To recap, here's the hierarchy: Customers > Employees > Society > Investors.

Strange, I know, but we believe that if we nail obligations 1, 2 and 3, we'll all make lots of money and you'll be just fine.
